As said last Friday there was scheduled maintenance being done behind the scenes. As it seems with any kind of changes, problems occur.

In the middle of one that hopes to be resolved as quickly as possible. The blogging area (comments, appearance and more) is the only known area that has been affective. The forums still work as expected.

Sorry for the inconvenience to all

he's become a big story that is growing. its time for him to make an ADJUSTMENT.  tort isnt a bad coach. bad coaches dont win the east and get 2 wins away from the stanley cup final. in fact he has squeezed the maximum from his team very efficiently. to this point.  but he needs to ADJUST.  not his line combos, or his defense pairings, or ice time or neutral zone , he needs to adjust john torterella's approach.  his angry sullen treatment of the media and histrionic ...

New York 1 vs. New Jersey 4 – Series tied 2-2

After a pretty tame first three games the emotion from the regular season between the two teams finally hit a boiling point. 66 penalty minutes were issued with 43 going to New York. The Devils scored two goals in a three minute span midway through the first period and never looked back from there. Zach Parise (2 goals 1 assist) led the way for the Devils in all facets of the game. His power play goal sna...

The NBA is coming off a bad offseason, the start of competition being delayed until Christmas. Even then, it was obvious that fans were having the privilege of watching training camp --- and paying for it. The NHL, by contrast, had come off a highly successful season which culminated in a brilliant Stanley Cup final pitting an underdog ancient franchise against a far-Western superteam, one which drew huge North American interest. Then, thanks to the NBA's protracted labor dance,...

Phoenix 2 vs. Los Angeles 0 – Kings lead series 3-1

The Coyotes from the previous two rounds finally showed up and played their typical game, enroute to their first win of the series. Mike Smith (36 saves) recorded his third shutout of the playoffs while coming up with his trademark saves and the Coyotes trademark opportunistic offence. Smith was sharp early on stopping Trevor Lewis on a partial break while shorthanded and then Mike Richa...

LA: Clips  make the playoffs but will but will be Spurred out. Thunder struck the Lakers down and nearly out. Bulls sank rather than Rose, and the Knicks were way too Melo. David Stern must be in a tizzy. :D

Meanwhile the Kings are gliding to the Cup and the Dodgers are a half  game better than my O's ( now that 's another story) for the best record in baseball.

Yanks, Bosox , Mets,Cubs, and Phillies are hanging in the cellar. Only the White Sox, c...

New York 3 vs. New Jersey 0

Posts, luck and great saves from Henrik Lundqvist (36 saves) sealed the Rangers win and for the fans who flew the free 17 minute flight on Delta Airlines. After the Devils controlled the first two periods Dan Girardi (1 goal) scored his third game winner of the playoffs and broke the backs of the Devils. Two minutes later it was pretty much over as rookie Chris Kreider (1 goal) tipped in his 5th of the postseason. Even a pregame blacko...

Not everyone is following USC recruiting on here which is obvious but what is going on with USC is something that has to shock everyone in the college football world.

Yesterday, USC received their 7th committment in the form of RB Justin Davis (6'1 195lbs Stockton, CA). Per Scout he is a 5-star and third best running back in the country while on Rivals he is a 4-star and 5th best in the country.

Two days earlier another running back, Ty Isaac (6'2 220lbs Joliet, IL) ma...

The Dolphins and former CFL great received a big blow. Interesting stat on Heisman wining...
