Tony Romo: Retire

New York Knicks: All I can do is laugh. Dolan is a jackass, Oakley is a punk. I grew up with  a Baltimore bred animus to most things NYC and back in the day the Baltimore Bullets/NY Knicks rivalry was a big deal.

Falcons:You came within a few seconds of winning the SB then  start firing assistants

MLB: Can we get back to starting pitchers trying to go seven innings?

Still campaigning for the Raiders to move Pottsville PA, home to one of the first NFL franchises. One of our techs  broke down near Pottsville, which is at least 2hours from our office. I start cold calling Ford dealers in the area to get him towed,  and was put in direct contact with the manager who expressed genuine interest in our stranded employee, towed the Transit, hooked him up with a rental, and repaired the van in a day. Those folks in the boonies know how to do business.  :D

what is oakley thinking? did he go there to kill the guy?
the falcons fired their dc!!! ?? that defense played a FANTASTIC first half. they ran out of gas in the 2nd half because the falcon offense couldnt stay on the field at all. they had the game ICED. 1 and 10 on the 20. 3:45 to go up by 8. and they passed into a sack that took them out of fg range. that is just ATROCIOUS FOOTBALL. u almost have to be on the take to bungle it that badly. fire whoever called that series. and u know what matt ryan? if the ground doesnt match the map, the ground is wrong. audible into a run play 3x in a row and win the game like the big boys would have done. brady, marino, manning, elway, the greats have balls. win the game. you know what to do. do it!!!
wth is wrong with that org? there isa reason their forum is called the choke ons.

and to cap it off wade w;uh happened philips has announced he is going to a 3-4. well thats just plain stupid. the only strength ofthe team is a ferocious front four, so lets take that apart. robert quinn says byebye because hes not a lb, and he will excel anywhere else. they have no speed at outside linebacker, and certainly dont cover well at that position, and the secondary is suspect as hell why did they let jenkins go.
this team needs offense, not wade philips and his GD 3-4.. some olsen guy as qb coach aint gonna cut it. go get ashlon jeffries and anquon boldin. and sign rivers. bring a superbowl to la ya stupid dunces.

When I went to school in Brunswick, ME (aka the 'north pole') I drove my Camaro into a guard rail at 95 after falling asleep. After I woke up and managed to pull the thing off the rail (it was planing rubber off the front tire and keeping me aimed at the rail) I was ok but the car, needless to say, was demolished. I sent it to Goodwin Chevrolet in Brunswick. One week and about $400 later (in 1971, but still...) it was good as new.

Almost 2 years later I went up for a big weekend to see my friends who were still there. As I tried to leave on Sunday my shift linkage fell apart. I hitched a ride and called Goodwin on Monday from MA.

I heard the same old guy on the phone and started to try to explain myself, first giving my name. Before I could finish, he said "Hi! How's school?" I explained I'd graduated and was in MA. He said "What're you calling me for?" I asked if he remembered my car ("Sure, red Camaro") and told him what happened and where it was. He said they'd take care of it.

Tuesday I called again and he said it was all fixed. Said it was just a cotter pin. They'd towed it of course, too. I asked how much, since I was taking a bus and bringing cash. He said $14.73. Stunned, I asked "How much?" He replied "Is that too much?" I said "Are you kidding? That's great!" and headed up. He didn't seem to understand my joy.

I would have bought every car I ever owned from them, but they were 160 miles away.

Vap, ps... I think the Boys will hang onto Romo at least long enough to find out how Dak looks after the book "How to Destroy Dak Prescott" hits the shelves :)

Altoona, Altoona!!!!

The Knicks are out harmless version of Fukushima: a meltdown that never stops radiating.

Phil couldn't stop it. I find it funnier than anything that he's trying to piss Melo off to waive his NTC that Phil gave him to begin with!

I'm going to agree with Rad on Rom. That said, in spite of his brittle physiology, he still has some trade value to the desperate. Even in the no trade zone of the NFL.
