i commented on how each game this weekend is an offense vs defense matchup. falcon offense vs eagle defense, ne o vs titan d, pitts-jax, and nwo-minny fit the bill in that regard, but these matchups r pretty unique in another more dramatic way. old guard vs new guard. esprcially at qb.

brady vs mariotas 42 start career is the most dramatic age difference in playoff history.

matt ryan vs nick foles

rothlington against bortles

and brees vs keenum. -all mismastches. at the most vital position. in every game. im going to predict that if one of these young'uns can pull off the upset, they will go on to super glory and win it all. in their home stadium for the first time ever.

Coach vs. coach, it's advantage NE and NO. Maybe a draw in Philly. Got a feelin' JAX has an advantage here, but Ben can cover a multitude of sins.

ya know,.... i have a nagging feeling about jax.they r one of these teams that can bring the other team down to their level. nothing would shock me this season. nothing.

Marrriota showed last week that a QB can lead by example , not mouth..
Leveon Bell making contract demands during a playoff week maybe too much crap.
Do you think the Giants think they blew it with Coughlin?

JAX doesn't have the feel of a team that will just fold and get blown out. Temp at Foxboro will drop from 60 now (hard to believe; it's 32 here) to the 20s at game time. Wonder how that works out? My main concern is how hot the NE offense will be.

I don't know if NY thinks they blew it with Coughlin, but they obviously did. He should come back to BC and make it the UCF of the north :)

Heard a TEN radio guy on the local sports outlet the other day. Dark Ages. He still seemed to think that NE was the only team (up to 2007 at least) that used a 'film library'.

i dont think the giants blew it with caughlin. the team was in severe decline before he left. they r going to get the fresh start they needed/wanted. caughlin wouldnt have gotten a good season out of them.
