I hope you will all watch or at least read about the Hall of Fame Ceremony tonight, and get to see Northeast Ohio shine! One thing I've always heard/read is how top notch the events (and planning) are, but also how well-treated everyone is (from the Enshrinees to the Public). We do it and we do it well! By the way, the Hall is expanding once again. Nothing like Football, and nothin like seeing the Greats in the Hall.
The Hall of Fame Festival is BIG in Canton, and lasts about 2 weeks...Right down from balloon launches, to concerts and fireworks , to ribs burnoffs, to fashion shows, the Tailgating Parties, the Autograph Sessions, to the Enshrinees Dinner (where they get their yellow jacket), to the Famous Parade to the Ceremony itself. I miss having the Enshrinement on the Lawn, as they moved it to Fawcett Stadium.
It's a BIG sports day for NE Ohioans...The Browns are holding "Family Day" down at the Stadium as I speak, with practice, autograph session and entertainment. Single game Browns tickets went on sale today too (Of course I bought)! Akron is hosting The Firestone Invitational (Helllllllllllllooo Galf) at the World Famous course.
Oh, then there's the Indians who stink. They gave away another game last night...Guess they just want to concede the Division to the Tigs!
We loves our Sports in NE Ohio!
