I have nothig but respect for the caliber of SEC football. However, I admit that I would have found it immensely entertaining if the SEC found itself on the outside looking in for "the game"

Nothing could top the kicking and screaming of that affair, well, not unless Jackie Chan and Asia Carrera co-starred.

galf-  Will you be picking Mich this week.

We have a Flash option this week as Kent St hosts Ohio

Plenty of  big-time intrastate rivalries. Fla/FSU, Ok/OK St, Ga/Gt & the civil war;  Oregon/Oreg St

I'm intrigued by UCLA/Stanford.

Also a big Wacker- San Jose St/ La Tech

Sure will but as mentioned around here before, by this point in the season I'm picking with my heart, not my head........I'll blog my sentiments....can't let JD have all the limelight this week.

Not interested while Michigan still has pansy ass RR recruits on the roster. We're still ridding ourselves of his plague, still in quarantine. That said, I would not be at all surprised to see it happen.

galf, that's a cool story, but who is ken hall and what became of him?

So you and Vap "on Henry: bama gets another beast" go figure this - According to MaxPreps, Henry is the 11th ranked player in the current class. How freakin scary good are the ten ranked higher than him?

nope. Although I think USC has 3 of them. I know USC has 4 of the top 17. There are 3 uncommited or decommited in the top 10. That's a serious class. Best for the Wolves is #16 QB Shane Morris. They've got a decent class committed but still sorely lacking top commits at depleted skill positions (RB & WR).

They're in the running for #30 WR Treadwell but he's got offers from all top schools (ND, Bama, OSU, etc).Call him a long shot.

Here's a strange one. They've got an RB committed by the name of Ross Douglas. He's listed as an RB or Center!?!?!?! Now get this. He's listed at 6'10" 180. Six foot freakin ten. Running back? My guess is they muscle him up over a couple of years and stick him at TE or WR. What do you do with a 6'10" skill position kid? I have no clue.

And another kid listed as DT/RB, He's Maurice Hurst and weighs in at 6'2" and 285. I guess he'd be a goal line option. But being practical, I doubt he's the RB answer. Good grief.

i always wonder in a case like taylor's why the other team tolerates it to such an extreme. I mean, hard foul the guy or something, but put some resistance up.

at 6'10" its hard to imagine his knees holding up long.
