The draft is August 24 at 9:30am PST/12:30pm EST. It is a live draft (online) if you want to take part, otherwise you can pre-rank the players (or not as Yahoo has a default list) and let the computer select.

The lead was cut to two five minutes later however, as QB Anthony Calvillo (329 yards 1 TD) spotted received S.J. Green (10 rec. 168 ya...

The game started with a bang as the Roughriders performed an onside kick on the opening kickoff but the Lions recovered. A few plays later the Riders forced a fumble in B.C. territory and ended up with a field goal. The rest of the first half was dull as the score was still 3-0 until the two minute mark. Saskatchewan missed a field goal resulting in B.C. returning it 65 yards. Six plays later QB Travis Lulay (257 yards 1 TD) scra...

Week 6 and 7 were bye weeks in the CFL as each team just played once over the two week period.

Sad news in the CFL world as Bud Riley – father of Oregon State Head Coach Mike Riley – passed away at the age of 86. He coached four different CFL teams and was a part of the CFL front office over his career.

Saskatchewan 20 vs. Edmonton 28

After many expected the Eskimos to sputter on offence, they are starting t...

Edmonton 22 vs. Winnipeg 23

After starting the season on the road for their first four games, the Blue Bombers returned home still searching for their first win of the season. Last week QB Alex Brink (294 yards 1 TD 2 INTs) completed just 9 passes and started out poorly again by throwing an interception early and on the ensuing Eskimos drive QB Steven Jyles (244 yards 2 TDs) found receiver Cary Koch (2 rec. 38 yards 1 TD) for the touchdown. Winnipeg 30 vs. Montreal 41

After having a poor opening week the Alouettes offence fired on all cylinders in week 2. QB Anthony Calvillo (443 yards 3 TDs) had just 8 incompletions on 39 pass attempts. The reigning CFL's rushing leader, RB Brandon Whitaker (16-98 yards 1 TD - 11 rec. 137 yards 2 TDs), dazzled in both the run and passing game. Nine different players had at least one reception, with receiver SJ Green (5 rec. 120 yards) following behind Whitak...

Saskatchewan 43 vs. Hamilton 16

The Tiger Cats came into the season with much hype due to the acquisitions of QB Henry Burris (284 yards 1 INT), receiver Andy Fantuz (5 rec. 49 yards) and new Head Coach George Cortez. However, the Roughriders, who were coming off a disatrous 2011 -- 5-13 -- squashed the hype as they punished Hamilton in the second half for the big road win. QB Darian Durant (390 yards 4 TDs 33 rushing yards) had a great opening game after ...
