You hit Flutie, Kelly, Orr and Vick. Brady? You should have said it's too bad the Patriots have the best interior linemen in the league, now with Solder probably the best OTs, and the best TEs (seen Yeatman yet?). Hit Brady? It'll happen but not often.

It's too bad that Tiger Woods lost his mojo. Remember when he was unstoppable? Now he's just sad.
***You have Barry and Earl--the only one you're missing is Walter .Losing Walter was a sad, sad day.******'s one!! Too bad Elvis never showed up for Jerry Glanville's football tickets. Remember that?
What a kook!

More of a local flavor but

It's too bad Bill Ford is an owner
Matt Millen still has a voice
Calvin Johnson didn't "complete the process"
Tom Dempsey only had half a foot
Gayle Sayers played in the ACL-hack era
Darkness with Harkness ever happened
The Islanders drafted Pat LaFontaibe 3rd (not really)
The Packers picked Tony Mandarich 2nd (not really)
Gary Moeller couldn't hold his liquer
Bobby layne could
Bob Probert

Great idea scurds.......could be an exhaustive list

this is well done scurds ...enjoyed all of it until Orr, well actually I have to thank ya for a blast of recollection that brings on a knot in the stomach being so upset at a young age watching Bobby's knees being targeted or than remembering the anger as a young adult when Ulf Samuelson disrespected Neely's career/life...

like I said , enjoyed the piece...I think

It's too bad Buddy Ryan couldn't build an offense
Gary Anderson's only missed kick that season cost the Vikings a Super Bowl appearance
Morons gave Rashan Salaam the Heisman over Kijana Carter in the same year that other morons gave unbeaten Nebraska the national title over unbeaten Penn State
Andy Reid can't manage in the fourth quarter
Rod Martin, Kenny King, and Jim Plunkett
John Cooper couldn't beat Michigan
The 80s Mets won one pennant
Lenny Dykstra tried to bust Doc Gooden out of Celebrity Rehab
Cus D'Amato died
Jason Bay is stuck in Citi Field
The Eagles have twice the talent of every other team in football and still won't win a Super Bowl
I'm an Eagles fan

galf- Even a MD dude knows the Moeller comment rings true. :wink'

scurds- I think Flutie had his chances.

It's too bad Bob Irsay didn't keep the Rams instead of swapping them for my childhood team- the Colts.

Idoj: hard to feel sorry for ya after all those nfc championship games you were in. nice one with gary anderson.and cus.
Vapor: he did, but the rob johnson fiasco that benched flutie in the playoffs is just unforgiveable every way you slice it, and then some. franchise defining blunder right there, and he DESERVED to play and was the best chance to win unanimously. the real chance ( to win in the playoffs) was stolen from him for political reasons. inexcusably unforgettable if you are a bills fan.
edbread: thanx. don't be shy!

scurds- Rob Johnson was a dud, but Flutie's height was a factor so I'll disagree.
